Service Locations
Our model is a split-campus approach, meaning we will have services in two locations. One location will house our “Intensive Services” and the other location will be used for “Community Services.”
Beaverton location
Our Intensive Services Building will be located at 17911 NW Evergreen Place in Beaverton, Oregon. CODA, Inc., will be the provider at this site and services will include:
- Residential Treatment: A facility-based treatment program where a person lives in a supportive environment and learns the skills to avoid relapse. Services are commonly 30-90 days. The CATT will have 26 men’s and 22 women’s residential beds.
- Sobering: Designed to support an individual who is acutely intoxicated. Services include monitoring vital signs, providing fluids and nutrients and offering a safe and supportive environment. Length of stay is typically very short, generally ranging from 4-12 hours. The CATT will have 16 sobering beds.
- Withdrawal Management (also known as Detox or Detoxification): Provides medical monitoring and support to individuals who have developed a physical dependence on alcohol or opiates. This is typically a short-term service, often with transition to residential services upon discharge. Average length of stay is 3-5 days. We are building 16 detox beds.
- Transitional Services: This program will provide short-term support for individuals as they transition out of residential treatment care and move to their next residence. Most individuals will stay 2-4 days. We are planning six beds for this service.
Hillsboro location
This site, at 5250 NE Elam Young Parkway, Hillsboro, Oregon, will be used for our Community Services Building. It will include outpatient services that can support individuals with problem substance use and those in recovery.
- Peer Drop-in Center: The Mental Health & Addictions Association of Oregon (MHAAO) will develop and operate the peer drop-in center at the CATT. The center will be a space where individuals in recovery and their friends, family and other supports can come together. Drop-in centers provide opportunities for connection, mutual support, and development of peer networks and resources, all of which are critical to recovery.
- Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment: Our outpatient services will focus on the Latinx community and will include evidence-based interventions, peer supports, medication management and counseling. Solutions Group NW will provide the outpatient services.
- Crisis Services/Hawthorn Walk-In Center: This program offers urgent behavioral health crisis intervention, assessment and stabilization services. It provides connection to both mental health and substance use treatment services. LifeWorks NW is the service provider at our current crisis service center and will continue providing services at the CATT.
- Health-Related Supports: Individuals who have problem substance use often have health care needs as well. Our vision is to co-locate some health-related supports to make these services more accessible to our community members.
Timeline
Intensive Services Building: Construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2024. We plan to complete construction in the fall of 2025 with some services beginning before the end of the year.
Community Services Building: Construction will begin in the spring of 2024. We expect to finish construction and open the building in the spring of 2025.
