A public meeting of the Washington County and SDL No. 1, North Bethany CSDR, ESPD and URMD Budget Committees will be held virtually and in-person. These meetings may be viewed live or streamed after-the-fact from the County’s YouTube channel. The in-person location for this meeting will be the Auditorium of the Charles D. Cameron Public Services Building, 155 North First Avenue, Hillsboro Oregon. The public is invited to attend the virtual meeting via Zoom through links above. The purpose of the meetings is for the Budget Committees to receive the fiscal year 2024-25 Proposed Budget Document, the County Administrator’s budget message, receive public comment and approve the budgets.

The opportunity for community input will be proved at the end of each budget committee meetings as noted in the schedule above. Community comments will be limited to two minutes per person and five minutes from regional and community-based organizations.

Those wishing to provide testimony at each meeting must register in advance. Please visit the How to Testify webpage for registration instructions and contact information.

If you would like to provide written testimony to be considered by the Budget Committees prior to the Public Hearing, please submit your testimony to [email protected].  Written Public Testimony will be accepted for the record until 9 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024.

This will not affect members of the public who submit testimony virtually during the Public Hearing. Their testimony will be included for the public record. Testimony received after the deadline will be shared with the Budget Committees but not considered in their decision. The public is welcome to submit questions or comments at least 48 hours prior to the Public Hearing by emailing [email protected]. Questions will be answered on a webpage maintained by Finance.

Upon request, interpretation and/or American Sign Language services will be provided if requested with at least two business days’ notice.
