What is the CATT?
The Center for Addictions Triage and Treatment (CATT) is a new substance use treatment program in Washington County. It provides a comprehensive approach to care with multiple services available for people who are struggling with substance use. It is a partnership of several different organizations, working together to provide rapid access to a continuum of services.
Services at the CATT
The CATT has two sites, one in Beaverton and one in Hillsboro. Each site offers different services with different providers. Services can be accessed by contacting the providers directly or by calling 503-846-CATT (503-846-2288).
Beaverton Recovery Center (BRC)
17911 NW Evergreen Place, Beaverton, OR 97006
Our Beaverton site offers intensive inpatient services provided by CODA, Inc. To access these services, please call 855-SEE-CODA (855-733-2632). Services include:
- Residential treatment: A facility-based treatment program where a person lives in a supportive environment and learns the skills to avoid relapse. Services are commonly 30-90 days. The CATT has 24-28 men’s and 20-28 women’s residential beds.
- Withdrawal management (also known as detox or detoxification): Provides medical monitoring and support to individuals who have developed a physical dependence on alcohol or opiates. This is typically a short-term service, often with transition to residential services upon discharge. The average length of stay is 3-5 days. The BRC has 16 detox beds.
The BRC is still developing its full array of services. In the future, we will offer the following supports:
- Sobering: Designed to support an individual who is acutely intoxicated. Services include monitoring vital signs, providing fluids and nutrients, and offering a safe and supportive environment. Length of stay is typically very short, generally ranging from 4-12 hours. The CATT will have 16 sobering beds.
- Transitional services: This program will provide short-term support for individuals as they transition out of residential treatment care and move to their next residence. Most individuals will stay 2-4 days. The BRC will offer six beds for this service.
