Board of Commissioners to meet in-person on September 1

At their upcoming Roundtable Meeting on Thursday, September 1, the Board of County Commissioners will resume regular, in-person meetings in the Public Services Building in Hillsboro.

With declining COVID-19 case counts and hospitalizations, the Board of County Commissioners has decided to resume in-person meetings, while also continuing to offer virtual access for staff and community participation. On Thursday, September 1, the public is cordially invited to join the Board for their Roundtable meeting from 9 a.m. to noon, in Room 120D of the Public Services Building. Although not required, onsite attendees who prefer to wear a mask are encouraged and welcome to do so.

To attend the September 1 meeting, or participate in future Board meetings, the following options are available:

  • Attend in-person at the Washington County Public Services Building, 155 N. First Avenue in Hillsboro. Meetings will be held in the Auditorium on the west side of the building.
  • Attend virtually by accessing a Zoom link through the Board’s iAgenda portal or stream directly from the portal itself.  
  • View the meeting online via the Washington County YouTube Channel.
