Restaurant Inspections

A restaurant's inspection score is determined by violations that have a direct connection to preventing foodborne illness or require specific action by management to control foodborne illness risk factors.

Violations related to general sanitation, operational controls, sanitation standard operating procedures, facility structures, equipment design, or general maintenance are not scored, but they are noted in the report. This means that a restaurant can receive a score of 100 but still have violations. A restaurant must receive a score of 70 to pass the inspection. Consumers can find a placard near the restaurant entrance that indicates if a facility passed the last routine health inspection.

You can find reports for inspections that took place after July 25, 2022, on the county's page in the state's database.
