Learn about 205th Avenue Project at open house on May 15

Talk with staff about the 205th Avenue Project at an open house from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at L. C. Tobias Elementary School, 1065 SW 206th Ave.

The 205th Avenue bridge over Beaverton Creek will be replaced. Other improvements to 205th Avenue, between Baseline Road and Quatama Street, include:

• Sidewalks
• Buffered bike lanes
• Streetlights
• Center turn lane
• Retaining walls
• Improved stormwater drains and treatment facilities

No presentation is planned; drop in any time during open house hours.

The project is funded through the Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP 3e, MSTIP 3f) and the Transportation Development Tax.
