Mark your calendars! The November 4, 2025, Special Election is quickly approaching, and today, Tuesday, October 14, is the last day to register to vote or update your voter information before ballots are mailed out tomorrow, October 15.
Every registered voter in Washington County, including those living in unincorporated areas, will receive a ballot this election. To see what measures will appear on the ballot, visit WashCoVotes.gov.
Tuesday, October 14, is the voter registration deadline
Voters who have moved or changed their name should review and update their voter information. You can register to vote if you recently became a U.S. citizen or just turned 16 years old.
Register to vote, check your voter status or update your information:
- Online at OregonVotes.gov by 11:59 p.m.
- In person at the County Elections Office located at 2925 NE Aloclek Dr, Hillsboro, OR 97124 by 5 p.m.
Ballots will be mailed beginning Wednesday, October 15
If you haven’t received your ballot by Wednesday, October 22, contact Washington County Elections at 503-846-5800 or [email protected] as soon as possible to request a replacement ballot.
Registered voters who have not yet turned 18 will not receive a ballot until an election occurs on or after their 18th birthday.
Tuesday, November 4, is election day!
Once received, ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. With Election Day just three weeks away, voters should decide whether they will return their ballot by mail via the United States Postal Service (USPS), at an Official Ballot Drop Box, or in-person at the Elections Office.
Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before November 4, 2025. A postage stamp is not needed when returning a ballot by mail.
Voter assistance is available to support all residents
Washington County’s Voter Assistance Team aims to minimize barriers to participating in elections so that all Washington County voters have the opportunity to vote as privately and independently as possible. Voters with disabilities who need assistance with their ballot or who would like to request help in a language other than English can contact the Elections Office by phone at 503-846-5800 or by email at [email protected].
Appointments should be made as early in the election cycle as possible. Voters who are unable to make an appointment are still encouraged to contact the Elections Office or visit us in-person. The Voter Assistance Team will do their best to provide any assistance needed.
