Washington County Elections has mailed ballots to all registered voters for the Special Election being held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Voters can expect their ballots to arrive via the United States Postal Service (USPS) by Wednesday, October 22.
If you haven’t received your ballot by October 22, contact Washington County Elections at 503-846-5800 or [email protected] as soon as possible to request a replacement ballot. Registered voters who have not yet turned 18 will not receive a ballot until an election occurs on or after their 18th birthday.
Voted ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025
Ballots can be returned by mail via the United States Postal Service (USPS), through an Official Ballot Drop Site, or in-person at the Elections Office located at 2925 NE Aloclek Dr, Hillsboro, OR 97124. Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before November 4, 2025, and received within seven calendar days after Election Day to be processed and counted.
There are 21official ballot drop box locations, all of which are accessible 24 hours a day, throughout Washington County. A completed list of Official Ballot Drop Boxes can also be found below, in the County’s voter’s pamphlet and online at WashCoVotes.org.

Voter assistance is available to support all residents
Washington County’s Voter Assistance Team aims to minimize barriers to participating in elections so that all Washington County voters have the opportunity to vote as privately and independently as possible. Voters with disabilities who need assistance with their ballot or who would like to request help in a language other than English can contact the Elections Office by phone at 503-846-5800 or by email at [email protected].
Appointments should be made as early in the election cycle as possible. Voters who are unable to make an appointment are still encouraged to contact the Elections Office or visit us in-person. Washington County voters can sign up for BallotTrax, a free service that provides real-time updates via text, email, or voice alerts as your ballot moves through the system. Voters will receive updates when their ballot is mailed, received and counted – or if there’s an issue that needs attention.
