Today, November 4, is Election Day! Here’s what you need to know

With Election Day finally here, Washington County Election Officials are urging voters to return their ballots as soon as possible. Of the roughly 400,000 registered voters in Washington County, 95,377 ballots have been returned—roughly 23.82% voter turnout.

Voters have until 8 p.m. to return their ballots to any Official Ballot Drop Box. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by today, November 4, 2025, to be accepted and counted. A stamp is not required to mail ballots via the United States Postal Service.

There are 21 Official Ballot Drop Boxes located within Washington County. A complete list of ballot drop sites can be found below, inside the voters' pamphlet and online using the SOS's Oregon Drop Box Locator.

Voters who are dropping off their ballot at the Public Services Building located on 155 N 1st Ave, Hillsboro, 97124 should enter through W Main Street to access the ballot box, and exit through NW Lincoln St. Elections staff will be present from late afternoon to the 8:00 p.m. deadline to help voters navigate the flow of traffic.

Washington County’s Voters’ Pamphlet is available by mail and online.

Selected portions of the County voters’ pamphlet are available in Arabic, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Farsi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese. These translations can be found online at Oregonvotes.gov/WashingtonVP.

Elections Office extends operational hours to assist voters.

Washington County’s Elections Office will open be open today, November 4, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Interpretation and translation services are available to voters who would like assistance in a language other than English. We have in-person Spanish interpretation available whenever our office is open, as well as telephone interpretation for many other languages. If you need assistance with your ballot, need to request a replacement, or would like to request help in a language other than English, please stop by the Elections Office located at 2925 NE Aloclek Dr, Hillsboro, OR 97124 as soon as possible.

The first unofficial election results will be released shortly after 8 p.m.

Updates for all ballots received and processed so far will be shared on the Washington County voter turnout webpage. Preliminary results will be provided through the Oregon Secretary of State's reporting webpage.

Elections Officials have until Monday, December 1, 2025, to complete the ballot counting process and certify the election with the Oregon Secretary of State’s Office. The official results will be available on the same webpage linked above.
