Washington County Elections has mailed ballots to all registered voters in Sherwood for the Special Election being held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Voters can expect their ballots to arrive via the United States Postal Service (USPS) by Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
Voters who haven’t received their ballot by December 31 should contact Washington County Elections at 503-846-5800 or [email protected] as soon as possible to request a replacement ballot.
Voted ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Once received, ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Sherwood voters may return their voted ballot by:
- Mail via the United States Postal Service (USPS)
- At the Official Ballot Drop Box located at the Sherwood Public Library, 22560 SW Pine St, Sherwood, OR 97140, or at
- Washington County Elections Office, 2925 NE Aloclek Dr, Hillsboro, OR 97124.
Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before January 13, 2026.
This election, Sherwood voters will be asked to consider two measures. To learn more about these measures, voters can refer to the voters’ pamphlet available online at WashCoVotes.org. A printed copy of the voters’ pamphlet will also be included in the ballot packet mailed to Sherwood voters.
Selected portions of the voters’ pamphlet are available online in Arabic, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Farsi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese. These translations can be found at Oregonvotes.gov/WashingtonVP.
Voter assistance is available.
The County’s Voter Assistance Team aims to minimize barriers to voting so that all Washington County voters have the opportunity to cast their ballots as privately and independently as possible. Voters with disabilities who need assistance with their ballot or who would like to request help in a language other than English can contact the Elections Office by phone at 503-846-5800 or by email at [email protected].
Appointments should be made as early in the election cycle as possible. Voters who are unable to make an appointment are still encouraged to contact the Elections Office or visit in-person. The Voter Assistance Team will do its best to provide any assistance needed.
