Meet the construction contractor and learn about upcoming traffic impacts at the Walker Road and Murray Boulevard Intersection Project open house from 5–7 p.m., Tuesday, March 24 at B4Church, 13565 SW Walker Road.
The community will have an opportunity to talk with the project team and review exhibits detailing the planned improvements at the open house. No formal presentation is planned. Exhibits will be available on the project webpage following the open house.
Construction is expected to begin in late April and continue through 2028. Travelers can expect lane closures and daytime flagging throughout construction.
The project will improve the intersection with dual left‑turn lanes, dedicated right‑turn lanes, and a new southbound lane on Murray Boulevard.
Work also includes replacing two bridges over Cedar Mill Creek and two culverts on Walker Road, between Far Vista and Park Way. A closure of Walker Road east of Murray Boulevard is expected next year for one of the culvert replacement.
The upgrades will improve safety, traffic flow and stormwater capacity at the busy Beaverton location.
This project is paid for through the Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP).
