Ordinance No. 642 proposes to amend the Community Development Code to clarify sidewalk standards in Transit Oriented Districts. The ordinance would also amend the Community Development Code and Pedestrian Element of the 2020 Transportation Plan to reference a design handbook (Pedestrian Enhancements Design Guidelines) that was developed by the county to provide guidance for pedestrian amenities such as wide sidewalks, landscaping, pedestrian-scale lighting and street furniture. The ordinance also proposes to add a strategy to the Bicycle Element of the 2020 Transportation Plan to provide for the possibility of signing certain low-speed/low traffic volume streets as bicycle routes.
Ordinance No. 638 proposes to amend the Community Development Code by adding a new code section, Section 214. Proposed Section 214 sets forth development review standards to accommodate decisions adopted under Measure 37.
Ordinance No. 637 proposes to amend the Washington County Rural/Natural Resource Plan, the Comprehensive Framework Plan for the Urban Area, and the Washington County – North Plains Urban Planning Area Agreement by incorporating changes made to the urban growth boundary (UGB) of North Plains. Ordinance No. 637, if adopted, would apply the Future Development – 10 Acre District (FD-10) designation to areas added to the North Plains UGB.

Ordinance No. 630 proposes to amend the Rural/Natural Resource Plan Element of the Washington County Comprehensive Plan to change the boundary of Hayden Quarry, located south of Forest Grove. The amendment proposes to shift future excavation from the south part of the quarry to the north. The proposed quarry boundary change will also change the impact boundary, which includes all areas within 1,000 feet from the quarry boundary.

Ordinance No. 627 proposes to amend the Transportation Plan to replace the 170th/173rd Study Area (between Baseline and Walker Roads) with a more specific arterial roadway alignment recommended by an advisory committee by modifying the Transportation Plan's Functional Classification System Map, Road Numbers Map and Study Areas Map, and by removing plan text describing this study area.
A-Engrossed Ordinance No. 626 proposes to amend the Transportation Plan to define the general location of a new alignment for Saltzman Road just south of Laidlaw by amending the Functional Classification System and Lane Numbers maps.

A-Engrossed Ordinance No. 612 proposes to amend the the Comprehensive Framework Plan for the Urban Area and the Community Development Code to require unincorporated vacant or underdeveloped properties not currently located within the service area of a special service district that provides park and recreation services to annex to the district at the time of development in order to provide new development with park and recreation services.
A-Engrossed Ordinance No. 611 proposes to make specific changes and corrections to maps and text in Washington County 2020 Transportation Plan. The 2020 Transportation Plan was the product of a comprehensive two-year plan review and update process. Ordinance 611 is intended to refine the plan by correcting errors and oversights and resolving inconsistencies in the plan.
A-Engrossed Ordinance No. 610 proposes to amend the language in the Comprehensive Framework Plan for the Urban Area, the Community Development Plans to achieve consistency with Washington County's 2020 Transportation Plan adopted in October 2002. Ordinance 610 also updates background and descriptive information in transportation sections of the Community Plans.
A-Engrossed Ordinance No. 609 proposes to amend the Washington County Comprehensive Plan to fulfill state law requirements for adoption of an airport planning program for Washington County. Nine airport facilities in Washington County are subject to airport planning requirements.
