The Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation (LUT) third-floor lobby in the Public Services Building will be closed for in-person services from July 1-3 while our software and computer systems are updated for new fees and fee increases for permits and applications submitted after July 1.
The office will be closed for the July 4 holiday.
The lobby will be open on Monday, June 30, the last day applications can be submitted under the 2024-25 fees.
Phone services will continue during this time. Staff will be working in the office and will be available for scheduled appointments with customers through July 3. All online systems will be operational except on July 1 when the ProjectDox and Building and Development Application Services (BDAS) systems will be unavailable as part of the software updates. These systems will be back online July 2. Inspection services will not be impacted.
“We understand these short-term changes to our operations could be disruptive for our customers,” said Carol Johnson, Manager, LUT Planning and Development Services Division. “The closure and systems shutdown is necessary so we can update software to implement fee changes and improve our services to our customers."
Services located in Suite 350 in the Public Services Building, 155 N First Ave., Hillsboro, include Building Services, Development Review/Current Planning, Community Planning, Transportation Planning and Survey.
