Comment on the Basalt Creek Parkway Extension project though an online open house until March 13.

Basalt Creek Parkway and the extension project are in the Basalt Creek Planning Area, between the cities of Tualatin and Wilsonville. Basalt Creek Parkway opened in 2017, connecting Tonquin and Grahams Ferry roads.

When the Basalt Creek Parkway Extension is complete, it will be five vehicle lanes with bike lanes, sidewalks and streetlights. The extension includes a bridge spanning Tapman Creek and a new traffic signal where Basalt Creek Parkway will meet Boones Ferry Road.

The Basalt Creek Parkway Extension is funded for design only. Funding comes from Federal Highway Administration grants and the Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program.
