Open house for three sidewalk projects is April 9

The public is invited to learn about three sidewalk projects at an open house from 5-7 p.m. April 9 at Mountain View Middle School, 17500 SW Farmington Road.

The public is invited to learn about three sidewalk projects at an open house from 5-7 p.m. April 9 at Mountain View Middle School, 17500 SW Farmington Road.

No formal presentation is planned; stop by any time during open house hours. Details are as follows:

  • 179th Avenue: A sidewalk will be built on the east side of 179th Avenue, between Ivy Glenn Drive and Farmington Road. Construction is anticipated in summer 2019.
  • 185th Avenue: Sidewalk gaps will be filled in on 185th Avenue, between Burnsridge Park and Bethel Court. Construction is anticipated in summer 2019.
  • Rosa Road: A sidewalk will be built on one side of Rosa Road, between Farmington Road and 198th Avenue. Construction is anticipated in summer 2020.

All three projects are funded through the County’s Urban Roads Maintenance District (URMD).  See map
