The Dairy Creek Road bridge, south of the Fern Flat Road intersection, needs to be replaced to address maintenance conditions and improve safety. We will build a new two-lane bridge and install a treatment system for water run-off.
We will install a temporary bridge as a construction bypass because there is no detour route available. This will avoid closing the road during construction.
Design start: September 2025
Right-of-way acquisition start: April 2026
Design finish: October 2026
Construction start (expected): May 2027
Construction finish (expected): Winter 2028-29

9/28/2026: Design is nearly finished. Right-of-way and permit acquisition is in progress.
Property owners will be contacted directly by a right-of-way agent about any needed right-of-way or permission to access private property.
