Herman Road, from SW 124th Avenue to SW Cipole Road, will be improved to include sidewalks bike lanes, streetlights, and street trees. A left-turn lane will be added at 124th Avenue.
A roundabout or traffic signal and road realignment will be considered for Herman Road and Cipole Road intersection. Railroad crossing improvements will be coordinated with the owners of the railroad.
Herman Road will be updated to urban design standards.
Design start: June 2025
Construction start (expected): December 2027
Construction finish (expected): September 2029
Update
03/19/2026: Our feasibility study indicated an all-way stop is sufficient for the Herman Road and Cipole Road intersection. In May, design work of improvements from Herman Road to 124th Avenue will begin.
