Project Update: Postcard Delivery Timing
Some community members recently received a postcard for the August 6 open house related to the 175th Avenue and Kinnaman Road sidewalk projects. The postcards were mailed well in advance, and due to delays at the Aloha US Postal Service location they arrived later than expected.
We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Even though the event has passed, we still welcome your questions, comments and feedback about either project. Please contact us at [email protected] or 503‑846‑7800. We value your input and appreciate staying connected with the community.
We will infill sidewalk in locations along both sides of this segment of road where there is no sidewalk. We will also build curb ramps, add signage and improve drainage in some locations.
This project will improve pedestrian connectivity in the Aloha area and will improve access to nearby schools, parks and businesses.
Construction start (expected): Summer 2027
Construction finish (expected): Winter 2027
Update
7/30/2026: We have completed 60% of the project design and are beginning the right-of-way process soon.
