The Turk Road Bridge over Dairy Creek is made of timber, aging, and weight‑limited. We will replace the bridge with a new, seismically resistant structure. The single‑span bridge will be 24 feet wide with two traffic lanes and will include guardrails that meet current safety standards.
This project is part of an effort to replace several bridges in the County’s rural transportation network that are structurally deficient or aging. Replacing rural bridges addresses crucial safety and connectivity needs.

6/24/2026: Construction will began in July 2026.
Road Closure: Turk Road will be closed July 13 to October 9 for the bridge replacement project. During the closure, drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists will be detoured to NW Sell Road and NW Pihl Road. The new bridge will be a single‑span, seismically resistant structure, 24 feet wide with two traffic lanes and guardrails that meet current safety standards. Construction is expected to finish in October 2026.
