Walker Road Phase 4 (Park Way to 123rd Avenue)

Walker Road is being improved between Park Way and 123rd Avenue.

We will improve Walker Road, between Park Way and 123rd Avenue, to improve safety and capacity.

This section of Walker Road goes through a large commercial area, as well as past an elementary school and several churches.

Improvements include:

  • Installing sidewalks and ADA-compliant curb ramps on both sides of Walker Road
  • Adding bike facilities on both sides of Walker Road
  • Installing streetlighting
  • Adding dedicated turn lanes from Walker Road onto Cedar Hills Boulevard
  • Maintaining a center turn lane from Park Way to Westfield Avenue
  • Upgrading storm drains

No additional travel lanes or changes to Cedar Hills Boulevard are planned at this time.
