As of July 1, 2014, Oregon law prohibits landlords from refusing to rent to someone based upon their use of a Section 8 voucher as a source of income.

The Washington County Department of Housing Services is hosting a free event for landlords, property owners, and property managers to discuss the value of inspecting rental property on May 23, 2012 at the Shirley Huffman Auditorium in the Washington County Public Services Building, 155 N. 1st Avenue, Hillsboro, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
