HILLSBORO, OR -- Today, Washington County Auditor Kristine Adams-Wannberg issued her 2023 annual report. The report provides a description of the Auditor’s Office’s activities during the 2023 and a plan for the upcoming year.
Adams-Wannberg, said, “It’s been a productive year. We started three audits, our first of which will come out this month. We also made improvements in the office, for example revising our policies and procedures and starting to implement new audit software. In 2024, we’ll be asking for ideas for new audit topics and working on new ways to communicate with the public.”
The report also highlights areas past 2024 the County Auditor will be working toward. One of these is a peer review (audit of the auditor) in 2025.
