Auditor's Office Returns to Full Staffing

Peter Morris joined the Washington County Auditor's Office December 8, 2014, after ten years as a Management Analyst with the Washington County Sheriff's Office. He has worked in local government since 1989, including over a decade as a government performance auditor.

"Peter's experience in government performance auditing and with Washington County government distinguished him from a strong field of applicants," said Hutzler. "He will be a valued member of my staff and restores the office to its full complement of two Program Auditors."

Mr. Morris has a Juris Doctorate from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College and a Masters of Public Administration from Portland State University School of Urban and Public Affairs. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Local Government Auditors.
