The Washington County Sheriff's Office is announcing the indictment and subsequent arrest of Gerardo "Cesar" De Paz Mayorga, a 33-year-old male, on multiple charges of sexual assault. De Paz Mayorga turned himself in at the Washington County Jail on October 2, 2023, following an investigation.

In September 2023, De Paz Mayorga was indicted by a Washington County Grand Jury. He now faces charges that include unlawful sexual penetration in the first degree, two counts of sexual abuse in the first degree, two counts of sexual abuse in the second degree, and sodomy in the first degree. These charges stem from an incident that occurred earlier this year at De Paz Mayorga's residence in Aloha. The victim, who was unable to provide consent due to impairment, was sexually assaulted by De Paz Mayorga.

During the investigation, another incident involving De Paz Mayorga was uncovered. Detectives are currently investigating a second possible sexual assault involving a woman who was unable to consent. That incident happened at a Hillsboro hotel a few days before the sexual assault at his home. Our detectives suspect that there may be additional victims, as De Paz Mayorga has targeted women who are unable to provide consent.

We urge anyone with information regarding either of the events mentioned or any potential additional sexual assaults involving Gerardo "Cesar" De Paz Mayorga to contact detectives by calling the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 503-846-2700.

De Paz Mayorga can be identified by his distinctive tattoos, a cross next to his left eye, and a large wing on the left side of his neck. A booking photo of De Paz Mayorga is attached to this media release for reference.
