On Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 2:05 a.m., deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of mail theft in the 4500 block of SW 160th Avenue in Beaverton.

An observant community member noticed occupants of a dark-colored 2015 Chevy Equinox removing mail from a neighborhood mailbox before speeding away.

Responding deputies, along with officers from the Beaverton Police Department, located and stopped the vehicle within ten minutes near SW 170th Avenue and SW Cambridge Drive.

During the stop, deputies found a significant amount of mail in the vehicle, none of which belonged to the occupants. The mail was seized and is currently being sorted to identify the victims.

The United States Postal Service's Postal Inspector has been notified and is taking possession of the stolen mail to further the investigation.

The occupants of the Equinox, identified as 37-year-old Brian Roberson and 38-year-old Jenni Frontino, both from Beaverton, were arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of felony mail theft.

The investigation is ongoing, and many victims have not yet been notified. Additional charges may be forthcoming.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office extends its gratitude to the Beaverton Police Department for their assistance in apprehending Roberson and Frontino, as well as to the United States Postal Service Inspector for their support with this case.
