The Washington County K9 Trials competition is a free family event where law enforcement K9 teams compete for first place!
In partnership with the Washington County Sheriff's Office and the Sheriff's Office Foundation, this event provides a great opportunity for the public to connect with local public safety agencies and learn about the talented K9 units protecting our communities.
The overall first-place designation is awarded based on a point system for each event.
Competition events include:
- Area Search
- Agility Course
- Suspect Apprehension
- Handler Protection
- Fastest Dog
In addition to the entertaining K9 competitions, spectators can enjoy a community and vendor fair and a meet-and-greet with the K9s after the competition.

- Date: Saturday, May 16
- Location: Hillsboro Stadium (4450 NE Century Blvd., Hillsboro, OR 97124)
- Hours: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The community fair opens at 10 a.m., and the K9 Trials competition begins at 11 a.m.
