The Washington County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in an investigation involving fraudulent activities and financial exploitation of a vulnerable individual.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Detectives arrested 38-year-old Ryan Claussen on charges stemming from allegations of sexual assault.

In August 2023, Washington County detectives learned of a sex trafficking ring connected to a home in the Bethany neighborhood. Over a dozen people, including two juveniles, have been connected to the ring, which operated in multiple states.
