At their meeting on Tuesday, April 15, the Board of County Commissioners proclaimed April as National County Government Month. Under the leadership of the National Association of Counties (NACo), Washington County joins our other 35 sister counties across the state of Oregon in highlighting our mission of service and our responsibility as a government agency to protect and enhance the health, wellbeing and safety or our residents in efficient, equitable and cost-effective ways.
