Animal Shelter Appreciation Week 2015

Animal Shelters, including the Bonnie L. Hays Small Animal Shelter, are important to the quality of life of our community and communities around the nation. Washington County has committed itself to providing excellent services to the animals and the people of Washington County through the shelter's programs.

People are often unaware of the importance of the shelter and Animal Services to the community. Issuing a proclamation declaring "Animal Shelter Appreciation Week" will help improve that awareness.
