The Forest Grove News-Times and OPB Radio will host a special live taping of "Think Out Loud," the station's morning talk show. Guests on the program will be Portland Mayor Sam Adams and Washington County Board Chairman Tom Brian. The public is welcome to attend this live taping in the Auditorium of the Hillsboro Civic Center. The program will air the next morning, Dec. 15, at 9 a.m. on OPB Radio. • Second Reserves Public Hearing before the Washington County Board of Commissioners
Tuesday, Dec. 15, 6:30 p.m. at the Charles D. Cameron Public Services Building, 155 North First Avenue, Hillsboro
The Washington County Board of Commissioners will hold the second of two opportunities to receive public testimony regarding urban and rural reserves. Public testimony will be limited to three minutes per individual, five minutes for recognized associations. The length of individual and group testimony may be further limited in order to offer everyone present the opportunity to address the Board. Written testimony will also be accepted. Individuals and organizations who provided testimony at the Board's first public hearing on Dec. 8 are asked not to testify again. The public hearings will convene at the Shirley Huffman Auditorium in the Charles D. Cameron Public Services Building. Streaming video of the Board's first public hearing on Dec. 8 is now available for Windows Media Player from the Tualatin Valley Community Television Web-based archive.

Please visit www.co.washington.or.us/reserves for background and current information on the reserves process, tips on effective testimony and to download a form to submit written testimony.

Under the regional reserves coordinated work program, regional recommendations for urban and rural reserves are scheduled for mid-December and additional review and comment from the public for early January. Adoption of reserves would occur in February through inter-governmental agreements. Additional information is available at www.oregonmetro.gov/reserves.
