News article

Most Washington County buildings will be closed on Wednesday, January 17 due to hazardous, icy conditions. The Washington County Circuit Court will also be closed.

Previous snowfall, freezing temperatures and freezing rain across the region overnight present travel risks for employees and the public. Emergency response and 24-hour services will continue.

In keeping with the county’s Facility Closure or Curtailment Due to Hazardous Conditions policy, employees should coordinate with their supervisors about any adjustments to their work schedules as appropriate.

Employees and the public are asked to monitor the Washington County website or social media feeds to learn more about other potential changes to hours of operation. Updates about road conditions can be found at www.wc-roads.com.
