Where: Wingspan Event and Conference Center
Why: This event brings together experts, elected officials, constituents, and service providers to discuss our community’s needs and explore innovative ways to expand housing opportunities. Held annually, the forum ensures that emerging issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner. Each year, it continues to grow and adapt to meet the evolving needs of our community.

Community Cares Award
The department is proud to present the Community CARES Award for the second year in a row at the Annual Housing Forum, recognizing individuals who make a meaningful impact in the housing and homelessness field.
The award honors those who exemplify collaboration, accountability, responsiveness, equity, and lasting impact. After last year’s pilot with advisory body nominations, we’re excited to open nominations to the public and encourage broad participation.
To nominate a community member, complete the Community CARES Award Nomination form, include their name and a brief description of how their work supports our shared goals.
Nomination applications are due September 15, 2026.
All nominees will receive a Community CARES nomination message, and one winner will be selected by a committee for an award and recognition at the Annual Housing Forum on November 6, 2026.
