Harkins House

Harkins House is a basic residential facility for Washington County youth.

It is for 12 – 17-year-olds on probation or with pending charges.  If a youth qualifies, Harkins House is an alternative to detention.

Case Managers help youth identify and meet goals. Staff teach residents everyday living skills. The youth’s progress is reported to the Juvenile Court.

The Hillsboro School District provides education for the youth.
