Washington County, Oregon: A month after the Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) launched the 3M Cloud Library e-book solution, readers in Washington County are taking advantage of the easy to use e-book option in record numbers! According to Tom Mercer, Cloud Library Marketing Manager with 3M Library Systems, "WCCLS had one of the fastest uptick in users that we've ever seen. Currently 46% of their collection is checked out by users. From our point of view the success was due to the well-coordinated launch events and the training of library staff across Washington County. The training showed staff how simple the Cloud Library is to use, which means library staff are easily able to show library users how to download e-books."
