Scotch Church Road to close for construction of a roundabout

Scotch Church Road will be closed at Jackson School Road from Nov. 21-Feb. 18, 2017, for the construction of a roundabout at Jackson School, Scotch Church and Meek roads.

Traffic will be detoured to Glencoe, Evergreen and Jackson School roads. All travelers are required to use the signed detour. Jackson School Road will remain open with occasional use of flaggers, when needed, for safety. Meek Road will remain closed through Jan. 31. 

The roundabout will realign Meek and Scotch Church roads at Jackson School Road. The $3.25 million project, funded through the County's Road Capital program, is expected to be completed in 2017.
