Drop Off Ballots Early

With only four days left in the state’s vote-by-mail election period, Washington County elections officials are encouraging voters to drop ballots off as soon as possible.

Ballots Should Be Dropped Off at Official Collection Sites by 8 p.m. Tuesday

 

Washington County elections officials are encouraging voters to drop ballots off as soon as possible for the current special election so that all ballots are processed in a timely manner. 

Appropriately signed and completed ballots should be dropped off at official collection sites in order to meet the 8 p.m. deadline on January 26.

With only four days left in the state's vote-by-mail election period, Washington County has received 106,458 ballots, or 40.2 percent of all registered voters in the county.

Ballot drop off sites can be found on the Washington County Web site at:

In addition, two days of drive-through service for dropping off completed ballots in their signed envelopes will be provided at the Washington County Elections Office at 3700 SW Murray Boulevard, Beaverton, and across the street in the K-Mart parking lot at 3955 SW Murray Boulevard, Beaverton.

These drive-through dates include:

  • Monday, January 25, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, January 26, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Voters may also drop off their completed ballots by 8 p.m. Tuesday at several 24-hour drop-off sites listed on the Elections Office Web site.
