October 27 is the last day to mail ballots

If you are planning to mail your ballot for the November General Election, you need to get it in the mail today, October 27, 2020, to allow plenty of time for delivery to the Washington County Elections Office.  After today, you will need to drop off your ballot at an official ballot box dropsite. We have 21 in Washington County, and you can find that list here on our website and we also have them listed below.

Washington County elections officials are asking voters to use one of these official ballot dropsites as early as possible so all ballots can be processed in a timely manner. The deadline for voting in the November General Election is 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 3. If you use a ballot dropsite early, and do not wait until Election Day, it is likely you will avoid encountering any traffic back-up that often develops at many of the dropsites on the day of the election. Ballots will be collected at all official dropsites until the 8 p.m. deadline Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

• Beaverton City Library (24-hour drive-through drop box on the west side of Hall Blvd., across from the library), 12375 SW 5th St., Beaverton, OR 97005

• Washington County Service Center East (NEW: Drive-up drop box. NOTE: This dropsite tends to get very congested with traffic on Election Day), 3700 SW Murray Blvd. Beaverton, OR 97005
• West Slope Community Library, 3678 SW 78th Ave., Portland, OR 97225
• Cornelius City Hall, 1355 N Barlow St., Cornelius, OR 97113
• Forest Grove, (Curbside drop box is on Pacific Ave. between Ash & Birch St.), Forest Grove, OR 97116

The following five dropsites are at libraries, and they do NOT have 24-hour access. To check the specific hours of operation at each site for each day, visit this website: www.wccls.org/vote. All these sites will remain open for access to the ballot box until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3, 2020. At these locations you will have to leave your vehicle in order to access the ballot box, and please do not return ballots to “Book Return” boxes:

Si planea enviar su boleta para las elecciones generales de noviembre, debe enviarla por correo hoy, 27 de octubre de 2020, para tener suficiente tiempo para la entrega en la Oficina de Elecciones del Condado de Washington.
