Community Service Event

Third Annual Good Neighbor Project is August 21

Know of a service project needed in your local community? Want to volunteer your service for project work?

On August 21, Westside Community Church is having their third annual Good Neighbor Project event. This event does not include any religious content but is about community service.  

Last year, 300 volunteers completed 10 different projects. Typically these projects are financed through donations. In past years, the Good Neighbor Project:

• repainted LifeWorks NW offices that offer women's services 
• repaired a home for an individual with a disability
• remodeled an office for Aloha High School
• cleaned up local school landscaping and many other projects.

Planning for this year's projects has just begun.
