Course on Our “Green” Washington County

Partners for a Sustainable Washington County Community is teaching a Portland Community College Community Education class on Wednesday nights this fall called “Our Green Washington County.” The class will be a sustainability education course with discussion and site visits to partner locations.

Partners for a Sustainable Washington County Offering PCC Class on Sustainability

 

Partners for a Sustainable Washington County Community is teaching a Portland Community College Community Education class on Wednesday nights this fall called "Our Green Washington County." The class will be a sustainability education course with discussion and site visits to partner locations.   

Participants will be able to learn more about the scientific basis for engaging in sustainable practices and sustainability experts from agencies like Tualatin Valley Water District, Clean Water Services and Washington County's Land Use and Transportation will show how these practices are being implemented around the county.

Partners for a Sustainable Washington County Community is a coalition of 11 Washington County governments that formed in 2007 to work together on sustainability. The agency researches sustainable practices for partners, facilitates collaboration between partner organizations and develops sustainability education and training for the partners and the Washington County community at large.
