Tualatin Hills Park &Recreation District Update

Cedar Hills Park Renovations

Take a look at the plans that Tualatin Hills Park &Recreation District (THPRD) has for the complete renovation of this Community Park, located at the corner of Walker Road and Cedar Hills Boulevard. It will include playing fields, a playground with a "splash pad," and a new signalized entrance that will provide a way for school buses to access William Walker School without going through the adjacent neighborhood. It's a great example of agencies working together. Beaverton School District, Washington County and THPRD have been working behind the scenes to make it a win-win-win!  

8:00 p.m. / Neighbors Concerned About Their Roadways 

Neighbors from both the Butner Road area and the intersection of Leahy Road and 107th have been concerned about traffic problems. Representatives from both groups will attend.

8:30 p.m. / Urban Coyotes!

Zuriel Rasmussen, Project Coordinator and Doctoral Student, Geography Department, Portland State University, will talk to us about the coyotes among us. 

CPO 1 will not be holding a meeting in August. Enjoy your summer!
