Preventing Food from Being Wasted
Presentation by Pam Vergun with Washington County's Solid Waste &Recycling Program

• The Eat Smart, Waste Less Challenge program provides easy tips and helpful tools to assist individuals and families in reducing the amount of food they are inadvertently wasting at home. The Eat Smart, Waste Less Challenge is an opportunity for families to save money and contribute to our communities just by reducing food waste.

What will King City look like in the future?
Presentation by Michael Weston, City Manager of King City

• Is your home planned for annexation to King City? Michael will talk about areas which have agreed to annexation to the city as well as areas in which discussions are taking place. He will cover the pros and cons of annexing and the process involved. He will also discuss the City's plans to work with Washington County and evaluate Urban Reserve areas in our community.
