To assist with fire-fighting operations, boating and swimming on Hagg Lake will not be allowed throughout the day. Roads and trails at Scoggins Valley Park remain open.

Access to the Surface of Hagg Lake Not Allowed Today to Support Air Attack on August Fire


To support aircraft engaged in battling wildland fire in northwest Washington County, no boating or swimming will be allowed on Henry Hagg Lake for the time being. Park personnel are coordinating with Oregon Department of Forestry as progress is being made fighting the August Fire along U.S. Highway 26 near Manning.
