Free Sustainability Workshop for Spanish Speaking Business Community Offered September 26, 2013

The Spanish speaking business community is invited to attend the Third Annual Spanish Sustainability Workshop a collaboration of the Washington County Solid Waste & Recycling Program, Adelante Mujeres, Washington County Environmental Health Department, the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Clinics and Portland General Electric.

Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

This year's topics will include how to grow organic food, food safety and preservation, how to recycle properly, and how to take control of energy costs. Attendees will get the opportunity to participate in a cooking class using organic food.
