Washington County H1N1 Vaccine Update

H1N1 vaccine is being distributed weekly to healthcare providers for priority populations as it becomes available.  CDC-defined priority populations are considered to be those with the highest risk for severe H1N1 complications:

• Pregnant women
• Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age
• Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
• All people from 6 months through 24 years of age
• Persons aged 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.  

How Can You Get Vaccinated?

• If you have a healthcare provider (doctor, clinic), please call them to get an appointment. Remember vaccine is shipped weekly so you may need to check back with them. 
• If you do not have a healthcare provider, please call 503.846.8851. We have a limited amount of vaccine to distribute weekly for individuals without a doctor and who meet the criteria listed above.
