Due to unforeseen circumstances, paving has been delayed on all remaining projects.

Updated paving schedule as of March 6:

  • Tongue Lane (Highway 219 to Iowa Hill): paving will continue through March 9 

  • Farmington Road (209th to Highway 219): March 16 - 24 (excluding weekend days)  

  • Old Highway 47 (Scoggins Valley to 835 feet south): March 30 - April 7

  • Scoggins Valley Road (Highway 47 to West Shore): March 30 - April 7

  • Walker Road (VonNeumann to 185th): May 6 - 7

Paving dates are subject to change due to weather and/or other unforeseen circumstances. This page will be updated if dates change.

Original release:

Paving crews under contract with Washington County's Department of Land Use & Transportation will begin paving work next week on a number of major county roads, starting with Park Way between Marlow and Cedar Hills. The county and its contractor, Baker Rock Resources, will work together to make sure traffic moves as smoothly and safely as possible through this necessary road maintenance work.

The following roads are scheduled to be paved:

  • Park Way (Marlow to Cedar Hills): August 11 – 15
  • Terman Road (Terman to Murray-northbound): August 26 - 28
  • Alexander Street (170th to 185th): September 2 - 4
  • Alexander Street (185th to 209th): September 8 – 11
  • Verboort Road (Cornelius-Schefflin to Martin): September 10 – 18
  • Farmington Road (209th to Hwy 219): September 22 – October 3
  • Tongue Lane (Highway 219 to Iowa Hill): October 3 - 9
  • Old Highway 47 (Scoggins Valley to 835 feet south): October 10 - 21
  • Scoggins Valley Road (Highway 47 to West Shore): October 10 - 21
  • Walker Road (VonNeumann to 185th): April 2015


Please note: Dates listed above are approximate and subject to change due to weather or other unforeseeable circumstances. For the latest paving schedule, visit www.wc-roads.com.

Advisory signs will be posted before the work begins. Roads will remain open, but may be limited to one-way traffic controlled by flaggers. Expect up to 15-minute delays. Use alternate routes if possible.
