The public is invited to comment on the Century Boulevard Extension Project at an open house, 5-7 p.m. Feb. 28 at R. A. Brown Middle School, 1505 SE Cornelius Pass Road.

This project will create a new north-south connection between TV Highway and Evergreen Parkway.

The Century Boulevard Extension Project includes a:

  • New, three-lane road (one lane in each direction and a center turn lane)
  • Bridge over Rock Creek
  • Realignment between Ariel and Lois streets
  • Sidewalk and bike facilities
  • Improved street lighting and storm drainage

The project is in the preliminary design phase. Construction is anticipated in 2021-22. Project dates are estimates and subject to change.

Funding for this project is provided through the County’s Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP).
