Construction on Fischer Road to begin in SeptemberUPDATED: 07/20/2016
Construction on Fischer Road, between SW 131st Avenue and Highway 99W, is expected to begin in September.

Construction on Fischer Road, between SW 131st Avenue and Highway 99W, is expected to begin in Aug. 1.
Between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., travel lanes will be restricted with flaggers directing traffic. Delays are expected.
All vehicle and equipment parking will be prohibited on Fischer Road starting July 15. Violators may be issued tickets and/or have their vehicle/equipment tagged and removed. Law enforcement will monitor Fischer Road for compliance.
The Fischer Road project includes the addition of sidewalks and bike lanes, painted crosswalks at SW 126th and SW 131st avenues, installation of LED street lights and speed display signs. The project is expected to be completed in January 2017.
