Meek Road remains closed at Jackson School Road due to weather-related delays. Dry days are needed to pave the connection between Meek Road and the new roundabout. Meek Road is expected to open May 1.

 

ORIGINAL RELEASE:
Jackson School Road will be closed for one weekend between Highway 26 and Evergreen Road for work on the roundabout at Meek and Scotch Church roads. The road will close at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 7 and reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, April 10.

Traffic will be detoured to Glencoe Road or Brookwood Parkway via Evergreen Road or Highway 26 during the closure.

When the road reopens April 10, Jackson School Road travelers will begin using the new roundabout and Meek Road will reopen. Scotch Church Road will remain closed through April while the connection to the roundabout is completed.
