Visit the Butner Road Culvert Online Kickoff through May 28 to learn about the culvert replacement and anticipated traffic impacts.

The Butner Road Culvert at Johnson Creek will be replaced.

Improvements include:

  • Larger culvert
  • Improved fish passage
  • Potential flood mitigation
  • Sidewalks
  • Waterline replacement

The estimated $978,000 project is funded through the County’s Road Fund as part of the Annual Maintenance Program. Construction is scheduled for June-December. Butner Road will close for about six weeks, tentatively beginning July 15.
