Original release from July 15, 2015:
Micro-surface paving begins July 27 on several county roads. Preparation work, including vegetation trimming and striping removal, begins the week of July 20. Work hours for both the preparation and paving will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Advisory signs will be posted before the work begins. Roads will remain open, but may be limited to one-way traffic controlled by flaggers. Travelers can expect up to 15-minute delays; alternate routes, if possible, are recommended. Washington County and its contractor, VSS International, will make sure traffic moves as smoothly and safely as possible.
